Dr Sally Hirsch holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degree (Australian National University), a Master of Teaching (University of Sydney) and a Doctorate in Education (University of San Francisco). Dr Sally is also a workshop leader and teacher trainer for the International
Dr Sally has worked in public, private and international high schools and universities in Australia, Switzerland and the US. From 2008, she has worked as an independent consultant with the International Baccalaureate with roles including author, workshop leader and curriculum consultant.
Dr Sally was a featured educator in the IB series “Inside IB Classrooms”. Her research in organisation and leadership focussed on intercultural competencies in schools, including identifying teacher talent, developing high performing teams, and forming school cultures that are responsive to the needs of a diverse community. Dr Sally firmly believes that providing young people with access to high quality education is the most significant step we can make in promoting global peace and responsible stewardship of our natural resources.
