Amir, 15, has big dreams.
He wishes to help the “new people” who suffer when they are forced to leave homes and have to learn to survive in new environments. The “new people” face discrimination, are scared, doesn’t know how to communicate, look for jobs, find housing and so forth.
Amir, who grew up as an Afghan refugee in Iran understands these stresses and suffering too well. His family of five landed in Malaysia very recently.
He believes that if he becomes a politician, perhaps he could help make life better for the “new people”. He wants to help build a better and kinder world. But at this very moment, his dream is just to be able to find a part time job, so that he could help his family survive.
